Dear Dhamma friends!

Thank you all for the interest in meditation retreat this summer.

As one of the main cornerstones of Pa-Auk meditation method is a presence and instructions of teacher during the practise, thus, after consulting with Ven. U Rewata, the decision has been made to use the time planned for this year's retreat to concentrate on the main goal of Pa-Auk Latvia International centre - to provide the necessary conditions for permanent presence of meditation teachers.

In order to come up with the necessary living and meditation facilities for teachers, monks and yogis we have started intensive work of reconstruction of meditation hall, as well as building a new accommodation for approximately 100 meditators. The dining room and other areas are in need of an improvement as well. That is why your presence and help is very important - we will organise voluntary work every weekend, starting from July 2nd. We will also be happy for any material help you can provide.
